I always knew my mother had taken a lot of 16mm cine film in the 1950s and after a family party was prompted to search for it. The Bell Howell projector didn’t work so I sent it to Jon Barr. He gave me a blow by blow account of what was there which of course I remembered after 55 years. Jon transferred the material to DVD and it looks better than the original. I well remember the projector blocking regularly. What a fantastic service and now film of two brothers playing cricket is now on YouTube. dsa99uk
